In the traditional system, the architect hands over the project design to a contractor or a builder to execute. This requires the second party to read and learn the drawings, interpret the design, and build from information acquired from various resources and teams.
Contractors may start working without full comprehension of the provided plans. When issues surface during the construction phase, it causes delays, as in such cases, the contractor consults the architect and waits for a solution.
